Arthur Paijens Elected as Executive Committee Member of GENA and Co-Chair of GENA's Invoice Finance Working Group

Unifiedpost Group (UPG) is pleased to announce that Arthur Paijens, CEO of Unifiedpost Payments, has been elected as Executive Committee member of GENA and Co-Chair of GENA Invoice Working Group. This marks a significant step in UPG’s involvement with GENA and its ongoing commitment to shaping the future of the finance and payments industry.

Arthur Paijens is the Chief Executive Officer of Unifiedpost Payments and brings over 25 years of experience in the payments and financial technology sector. His career began in global transaction banking, where he gained international experience working in the USA, Belgium, Italy, France, and the Netherlands. He later transitioned to the payment processing industry and, before joining Unifiedpost, co-founded and served as CEO of OneLinQ, an innovative FinTech company.

Arthur’s extensive expertise positions him to drive strategic collaboration and innovation within the GENA Invoice Finance Working Group. In his new role, Arthur will work alongside William Drakos of SoftOne, with whom he will share leadership responsibilities to advance the group’s mission. He succeeds Magaly Charlier, formerly of Mastercard and now at Taulia, who has been pivotal in driving the group’s success to date.

When asked, Arthur shared thoughts on this new role:

The GENA Invoice Finance Working Group (IFWG) was formed to explore and make recommendations concerning the topic of invoice finance, which represents an opportunity for GENA members and the GENA community to derive new sources of revenue and value. The group is composed of industry leaders, experts, and innovators dedicated to advancing best practices and fostering growth in this critical area.

The Invoice Finance Working Group will continue to drive innovation in e-invoicing and finance, with a focus on improving financial processes and enabling businesses to thrive in an increasingly digital world.
