We are seeking a highly motivated Sales & Business Development Manager (External Sales) for the French speaking part of Belgium. You have a natural curiosity and a strong passion for digital transformation and sustainable business solutions.

In this role, you will proactively engage with potential clients, confidently approaching prospects to expand our business.

You will play a crucial role in supporting stakeholders and partners in the ongoing expansion of our product portfolio. With an adaptability-focused mindset, you will contribute to the development of Billtobox as a comprehensive one-stop solution for e-invoicing.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Achieving the commercial objectives within our organization
  • Independently manage and nurture key client relationships
  • Identifying customer needs and effectively communicating these to our product development team in a structured manner
  • Ensuring customers satisfaction and alignment with our services

A commercial mindset is essential, as you will be responsible for providing customers and prospects with clear insights into the diverse solutions we offer, ultimately driving them towards informed decisions. You are not afraid to approach prospects. You will be accountable for achieving the organization’s commercial targets.

We would be happy to see

  • Bachelor degree, preferably in a business or technological direction
  • No work experience required but with sufficient affinity with the technology sector
  • Experience with software as a service is a plus but not a requirement 
  • A strong, motivated person who can deal tactfully and diplomatically with all levels of an organization
  • No real technology expert required but competence to quickly gain insight into fintech technologies
  • Solution-oriented and able to make decisions independently
  • Strong sense of responsibility and capacity to complete business
  • Good organizational skills are a must
  • Team player with enthusiastic and ambitious attitude who radiates passion for our solutions
  • Good listening skills and a good dose of interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral
  • Good knowledge of French and English. Dutch is a plus, but not necessary.
  • You are prepared to come to Ghent or Kontich on a regular basis (one a week, on Monday) to catch up with your colleagues.
