QA Engineer

We are looking for a talented QA Engineer to join our passionate team that includes a wide range of developers and testers, from junior to senior, all eager to lend a helping hand if needed. 

The Integration Cluster team works on creating a Developer Experience that will contain a Developer Portal, Documentation Portal, and Service Store.

A developer portal, also known as an API portal or API developer portal, is a website or online platform that provides resources and tools for developers who want to build applications or integrate services using APIs. The Integration Cluster team creates a central hub for developers to access documentation, tutorials, code samples, and other resources that help them effectively understand and utilise the available APIs.

These portals act as a gateway for developers to discover and explore the APIs offered by the company, understand their capabilities and limitations, and access the necessary technical documentation to implement the APIs into their own applications.

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible to:

  • Create test cases and organize them into test plans;
  • Prioritise and execute manual testing;
  • Open bugs with all the steps to reproduce;
  • Identify and prioritize tests that are suitable for automation;
  • Create and execute automated tests in the CI pipeline;
  • Schedule deployments of released versions on different environments;
  • Report test results;
  • Prepare demo sessions for stakeholders;
  • Work closely with other QA's, Product Owners, Developers and Devops to deliver qualitative web applications.

What you bring:

  • Relevant work experience in Software Testing;
  • Ability to work with bug tracking and test case management tools;
  • Experience with: Java and Javascript is a plus;
  • Experience with a test framework like TestNG/JUnit/MABL;
  • API testing experience: REST;
  • Knowledge of API testing using API testing tools Postman/swagger;
  • Smoke Testing, Functional Testing, Positive/ Negative Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing;
  • Knowledge of Build integration tools - Jenkins, and Docker will be an advantage;
  • UI testing experience is a plus.

We would be happy to see experience with:

  • Performance testing using Jmeter;
  • Security testing;
  • Usability testing;
  • Databases: SQL, NoSQL flavors;
  • Selenium Grid, Browserstack or SauceLabs;
  • Jenkins configuration;
  • Google Cloud logging
