As an QA Tech Lead, you will be responsible to:
- Create a technical vision for the products and for the technology within the organization, together with the Software and Infra Architects. Propose innovative solutions and drive implementation with the help of the product team;
- Analyze in detail all the requirements before proposing a solution or technology;
- Propose innovative solutions for new features;
- Own, together with the Software Architect, the technological stack used for the products;
- Work together with the Lead Developers and Lead QAs to define the development and QA direction, in such a way that the business goals and technological stack are optimally used;
- Discuss with the lead developers, lead QAs and architect to make sure that the selected technologies are appropriate to the product direction and vision;
- Identify and prioritize tests that are suitable for automation;
- Create and execute automated tests in the CI pipeline;
- Schedule deployments of released versions on different environments.
What you bring:
- Higher education in Computer Science, Information Technology or comparable knowledge through professional experience;
- Good communication skills (clear, concise, coherent, and complete written and verbal communication, both in local language and English);
- Critical thinking, ability to search, classify, interpret, synthesize and present information;
- Ability to work with distributed teams, people from different cultures and countries, and constructively deal with differences of opinions and views;
- Proactive, takes ownership, focuses on problem-solving more than problem-finding, and adapts to changing environments and priorities;
- Innovation - continuously researches new technologies and development methods, thinks about continuous improvement, and finds new tools and methods for oneself and colleagues;
- Ability to train/mentor people;
- Relevant work experience in Software Testing;
- Ability to work with bug tracking and test case management tools;
- Experience with: Java and Javascript is a plus;
- Experience with a test framework like TestNG/JUnit/MABL;
- API testing experience: REST;
- Knowledge of API testing using API testing tools Postman/swagger;
- Smoke Testing, Functional Testing, Positive/ Negative Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing;
- Knowledge of Build integration tools - Jenkins, and Docker will be an advantage.
We would be happy to see experience with:
- Senior QA engineer, Lead QA or technical lead and hands-on software development skills;
- Performance testing using Jmeter;
- Security testing;
- Usability testing;
- Databases: SQL, NoSQL flavors;
- Selenium Grid, Browserstack or SauceLabs;
- Jenkins configuration;
- Google Cloud logging;
- UI testing experience is a plus.
