About the job

Mission

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief of Staff plays a pivotal role in enhancing the effectiveness and productivity of Unifiedpost’s executive office by providing strategic, facilitative, and operational support.

  

The Chief of Staff drives key strategic initiatives and ensures seamless execution of projects and tasks across all areas of business strategy and operations. This includes day-to-day management, stakeholder engagement, oversight of strategic initiatives, board coordination, and deadline tracking. The role requires a strategic mindset, strong communication skills, and exceptional project management capabilities, with a proactive approach to execution.

As a senior leadership position, the Chief of Staff fosters a culture of accountability across departments, helps shape and manage Unifiedpost’s C-suite leadership agenda, and develops the systems and checkpoints necessary to track and sustain high performance throughout the organization.

Responsibilities 

  • Support the CEO in achieving company-wide and business-unit-specific operating goals by identifying potential gaps, developing action plans, and ensuring successful execution in collaboration with the executive team.
  • Partner with the CEO and executive leadership to define and manage key company priorities, including strategic planning, financial processes, and operational reviews.
  • Organize and oversee meetings for the Executive Committee, Investment Committee, and Board of Directors, ensuring timely follow-ups and effective decision-making.

Key Accountabilities

  • Continuously refine and enhance company governance and internal processes, ensuring the right topics are addressed at the right time, facilitating productive discussions, and tracking follow-up actions.
  • Support internal and external communications from the CEO.
  • Conduct complex ad-hoc analyses and present strategic recommendations to the CEO, CTO, and senior leadership.
  • Lead special projects on key strategic initiatives as they arise.

Competencies

  • Languages: Fluent in English and French
  • Education & Experience: BA/BS or Engineering/Math degree required; MBA preferred. 3–10 years of experience in Operations, M&A, or top-tier consulting with a finance focus.
  • Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Strong reasoning, analytical skills, Strong Excel proficiency and process improvement experience.
  • Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to guide executives, drive accountability, and manage board/executive communications.
  • Project & Stakeholder Management: Excellent project management, influencing skills, and ability to navigate competing priorities.
  • Mindset & Work Ethic: Entrepreneurial, proactive, resourceful, and highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Team & Culture Fit: Strong team spirit, enthusiasm for the company’s mission, and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
